Wei Yangyang’s paintings use the creation method of surrealism to move,

replace and juxtapose the objects in time and space. The works not only

form a contrast with traditional landscape painting in terms of subject matter,

but also build a new worldview in terms of creative concept.

This kind of uncertainty and fantasy factors dissociated from reality echo with

the aesthetic intention of contemporary people’s inner longing. 

Since 2009, she has held six solo exhibitions in Beijing, Suzhou and Chengdu,

and participated in major joint exhibitions in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai,

Suzhou, Wenzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mauritius,

Bangkok, London and other Chinese and foreign cities, and her works

have been collected by institutions or private individuals in China, France,

Germany, Korea, the United States and other countries, as well as in Taiwan

and Hong Kong.
